Jamis Mountain Bikes
Jamis started out as a distributor of imported European bicycles and parts in 1937 and has growth into one of the oldest, largest bicycle companies in the US with international distributors throughout the world.
The company introduced its first bike called the Earth Cruiser in 1979 and have since taken a prominent position in world of mountain biking. Jamis bikes have earned a few mountain biking bike-of-the-year awards. However, they haven’t been resting on their laurels. Every years the company endeavors for quality and renovation to set new standards for bicycles.
Jamis Bicycle full suspension mountain bikes include the Dakar Cross Country Race and Cross County Comp series and the Dakar Trail Bikes series; hardtails include Dakota, Dragon, Exile and Durango names in the Competition XC series, the 29’ers series, and the Trail XC series. Jamis is only one of the few remaining bicycles companies still offering steel frames with the Dragon Pro, Dragon 29 Race and Dragon 29 Sport.
